Prime Data Centers — Aledo Road Campus (Benbrook)
Benbrook / SW Fort Worth, Tarrant County (adjacent to the Parker County line)
Prime Data Centers is building a multi-building campus (DFW04) near Aledo Road and Chapin School Road in Benbrook/southwest Fort Worth, close to the Parker County line. Plans describe three roughly 267,000-square-foot buildings and about 48 MW of power. Campus cost has been reported around $1.5–1.6 billion, part of a broader DFW expansion reported near $3 billion. Included because it sits immediately adjacent to Parker County; it is not inside the county. We found no reporting updating its status since mid-2026 — treat the construction stage as unconfirmed. Since September 21, 2026 a statewide freeze on state data-center permits applies to any approvals this project still needs.

Statewide permit freeze takes effect
Governor Abbott directed TCEQ to issue no permits sought by data center projects until ERCOT completes its audit, and directed that no state agency move forward with data-center regulatory approvals. A project already under construction is not exempt — any further state approvals it still needs are covered by the freeze. We have not confirmed what approvals, if any, this campus still has outstanding.
